Manchester United have been handed a major injury boost after Eric Bailly’s return to training after recovering from a knee injury.
The Ivorian joined Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe, Nemanja Matic, Diogo Dalot and Timothy Fosu-Mensah in training at Carrington after battling with several injuries.
During pre-season, the 25-year-old picked up a knee injury in his team’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in July and has not played one game this season after undergoing surgery.
Manchester United’s match vs Sheffield United will be too soon for the ex Villareal player, who did not join the group in training but had an individual session on Wednesday.
His return will be a plus for his club who are 7th in the league and have conceded 12 goals in the EPL thus far.
