Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come out to speak about Anthony Martial’s current condition. He recently revealed that he is pleased that Frenchman got his first 45 minutes after a long time.
According to him, it is understandable that he still lacks sharpness on the pitch but that will definitely come with time.
Ole added that Martial tried to do the right things vs Everton in their preseason friendly even if some moves didn’t come off as expected.
His words, “Anthony has had a bad spell with injuries, of course these were his first 45 minutes.”
“He’s been training well with us but as players who’ve been out for a while, they need some more sharpness, need some more work.”
“He tried to do the right thing; it didn’t come off all the time, but it’s better than what you fear sometimes when he’s been injured for five months – since March.”
