According to him, as soon as the Frenchman solves his emotional issues in the Spanish capital and fully adapts to life as a Real Madrid player, he’ll succeed at his new club
Toni added that Mbappe has everything you can ask of an attacking player, so he can’t fail in Spain.
His words, “I think he is spectacular. It is true that he has not started at Real Madrid at his best level, but when he solves his emotional problems and is fully adapted he will enjoy and succeed because he has everything you can ask of an attacking player. He is a phenomenon and I bet he will succeed for sure.”

On 22 February 2018, Mbappé was joined by former African strikers George Weah and Didier Drogba in a meeting with French President, Emmanuel Macron and FIFA president Gianni Infantino at the Élysée Palace in Paris, which focused on a sports development project in Africa. Mbappé stated that the development of African sport is important to him due to his parents’ African origins.
