Barcelona midfielder, Aitana Bonmati has come out to say that the female Spanish team are eager to return to normalcy following a deal struck with their football federation. She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, she and her teammates cannot wait for all of the saga to be over because there are things that have to be improved about Spanish football.

Bonmati added that the players are committed to leaving a good legacy behind for both women and football.
His words, “We would like to return to normality knowing that there are things to improve. We are committed to making everything go better and leaving a good legacy and conditions… We are here to play football but we have a loudspeaker and a responsibility to leave football and women in a better place than we found it.”

Aitana Bonmatí Conca is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga F club Barcelona and Spain women’s national team. She is considered one of the best players in women’s football.
Bonmatí has been with Barcelona since 2012, developing through La Masia for six years. She was promoted to Barcelona’s first team ahead of the 2016–17 season, and made off-the-bench appearances for the club until her break-out year in the 2018–19 season. In 2019, she started the first UEFA Women’s Champions League final of Barcelona’s history, and later in the year was voted Catalan Player of the Year for the first time.
Aitana Bonmatí was born on 18 January 1998 in Vilanova i la Geltrú, a town of the Garraf region of Catalonia.When she was born in 1998, her parents wanted to abandon Spanish naming customs that default to the paternal surname being listed first. For the first two years of her life, she was known as Aitana Bonmatí Guidonet, with her two surnames both being from her mother.
In 2000, the law in Spain changed to allow for a reversal of the custom, with Bonmatí then given her maternal surname (Bonmatí) as her first surname, and her paternal surname, Conca, to be her second surname.
