Udinese goalkeeper, Juan Musso has come out to speak on Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi. He recently revealed that he doesn’t agree that Messi has to win anything else to prove he is the best to do it.
According to him, it is clear that the Argentine has always done well for the national team, and he has just been unlucky in finals.
He added that Messi definitely deserves to win a major tournament with Argentina, but football doesn’t work like that.
His words, “I don’t agree with that view at all. Leo doesn’t need to win anything else to show he’s the best,”
“He deserves to win a major tournament but football doesn’t work like that. There were three finals (two Copa Americas and a World Cup final) where he played really well, and the team too, and we didn’t manage to win.”
“But it’s clear that he’s always done well for the national team. To win or lose a final, we all know that that difference is made only by details.”
“For me, he is the best of all time. So, I don’t agree with what they say, that he has to win an international tournament. He has nothing left to prove.”
