Isco has said it was important for Real Madrid to “get back the winning feeling” at the Bernabeu after their first home La Liga win of the season on Sunday.
He said: “Today was a very important game to get back the winning feeling at home, where we were finding it tough.
“We are happy to get the three points. It was time we won a game here, and we hope this is the start of a good run now.”
“I believe I scored a similar one with the [Spain] under-21s in the 2013 European Championship,” he said. “I hit an earlier chance better and missed… this happens in football.
“I am happy for the goals, as lately I was not finishing well in front of goal, and with the three points above all.”
But he added: “The important thing is that we are making chances. It is something we can improve.”
