French midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has come out to react to being suspended for France’s Euro 2024 quarter-final clash. His suspension was confirmed after he picked up a booking against Belgium, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he felt disgusted with himself for the irresponsible tackle he made on Doku which resulted in the booking, but he remains confident in the national team even in his absence.
Rabiot added that the midfielders on the bench are worthy enough to take his place in the starting lineup.
His words, “I’m disgusted to have taken this yellow. I find that the refereeing at the start of the match was a little limited. But I have confidence in the guys on the bench, I will be behind them.”
