AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has come out to say that he is confident that Luka Modric’s addition will help the club next season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Modric is a champion who can raise the technical level at the club, and his signing is to ensure AC Milan starts guaranteeing UCL football like it used to.

Allegri, however, added that the lack of European football will give his team more time to improve teamwork.
His words, “Modric will be important for us; he’s a champion and will raise the technical level. The goal is to return to playing in the Champions League, which won’t be easy because there are very well-equipped and competitive teams.
The positive aspect is that playing once a week gives you more time to work, assimilate concepts, and become more of a team.
The negative aspect is that by not playing in the Champions League, you don’t get to play the big games everyone would like to play. I look at the glass half full: we have to work hard so that Milan can return to the Champions League next year. I’ve come back here with enthusiasm and desire.
I’m focused on the final objective, which is to qualify for the 2026-27 Champions League, which is crucial for the brand and for the club financially.”
WOW.
