More Cooling Capacity Embedded in a 600 mm Rack Cooler

Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Italy, November 21, 2014 –(PR.com)– Climaveneta Spa, the European leader in providing high efficiency HVAC and HPAC solutions, has introduced a new enlarged portfolio of rack cooling solutions designed for high density data centers. The new units will complete the already existing CRC Rack Cooler range, providing customers with a greater cooling package able to fit both hot/cold aisle and containment configurations in environments with raised or non-raised floors.

The additions include the availability of six new sizes featuring a 600mm structure width: four models will be available for the chilled water version (CRCC), and further two models for the direct expansion version with full DC inverter brushless compressor (CRCX). Thanks to this new layout, the new CRC units are now able to handle higher heat densities (up to 75 kW per rack) compared to the 300mm models, whilst maintaining a reduced footprint needed by those data center facilities where space optimisation is a key requirement.

As for the previous CRC units, also the new models come standard with a dynamic humidity and temperature management system (Evolution control), electronically commutated fans and DC inverter compressors which ensure large energy savings at partial loads. All proven and experienced technological choices that have always been Climaveneta’s distinguishing features in terms of product reliability, efficiency and flexibility.

CRC 600 mm units will be suitable for rack-based and row-based climate control, providing IT managers with the most comprehensive and technologically advanced close-coupled cooling package available on the market.
