Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has come out to say that he hopes Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals will flow after he scored the 700th in his club career in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Everton. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, every player needs some sort of confidence to get back in form in front of goal, and he can only hope the Portuguese international has turned that corner.
Erik ten Hag added that scoring 700 club career goals is simply outstanding for Ronaldo, and he is sure more goals will come.
His words, “Every player needs it [confidence] even when you are the best in the world you need it, you need the goals,”
“Once they have some goals, they come easier and then the goals come in a flow.”
“That is really impressive when you score 700 goals, a huge performance. I am really happy for him and congratulate him for that. I am also really happy it is his first goal of the season in the Premier League. I am sure more goals will come for him.”
