Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has come out to say that he doesn’t want to confuse his players with new tactics. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, his focus will immediately be on developing an identity at the club, and the fans can expect to see his idea and player positioning in the first couple of games.

Amorim added that he doesn’t intend to go 100% on every detail that comes with his system since that can confuse the players.

Of course we are going to prepare the games, but we will focus a lot in our game model. How to play, how to press, these small things, small details. You cannot go 100% on every detail because it will be confusing for the players. So if I have to say one thing, my main goal, my first goal, is identity.”
