Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham has said that the club should try to bring Scott McTominay back. He recently revealed that he would resign Scott and play him alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield.
Speaking to the press, he shared that McTominay would’ve added a bit of steel in MUFC‘s midfield, but his return is unlikely at this point.

According to him, while Casemiro is still a quality footballer, the Brazilian midfielder’s legs are already gone, and he can no longer deliver at the highest level.
He stated that his perfect team would be Benjamin Sesko as the striker and Cunha playing behind him.
“I would definitely go with Sesko up front and Matheus Cunha just off him.
That leaves it tough for Fernandes in midfield but he’s obviously the captain and has been playing very, very well the last couple of years with his performances and his goals.
I would get McTominay back if I could and put him in alongside Fernandes in midfield to add a bit of steel but obviously that was a permanent move. He’s not coming back. So you’ve got Casemiro.
His legs are gone so it’s going to be tough to play him there so he’d need a lot of help from Fernandes and Cunha,” he said.
Teddy further described Amad Diallo as a lively footballer, stressing that his expressive style of football can help MUFC this season.
He concluded by saying that Amorim should build his team around the younger players to improve the club’s results.
“Casemiro can pull his man slightly wide, Cunha can tuck in alongside him in midfield, making Fernandes very secure.
Amad Diallo, I would play wide right. I like him. Mbeumo goes wide left. Amad is a very lively player. Very expressive in the way he plays. You can manipulate younger players too in order to fit what the team needs to get close as a unit and go from there,” he added.
