Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has come out to say that there was a spirit problem among his players at the start of the season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, when players do not give everything and play with the right attitude, it affects the team spirit and inevitably leads to losses or draws.
Erik, however, added that his boys look to have overcome that problem now and he expects them to keep adapting to games to get the 3 points.
His words, “You have to adapt and find a certain way to win games and that is what we did today. That was the problem, especially in the second game. When you don’t give everything and you don’t have the attitude for 100 per cent and you don’t have right team spirit, you don’t have to talk about philosophy or game plan or whatever. First it has to be a team and spirit and 100 per cent commitment.”
