My Ex-Boyfriend Was Obsessed With John Cena – Margot Robbie

Hollywood actress Margot Robbie has said that she once slept alongside a life-size cardboard cut-out of John Cena for 2 years. The moviestar recently revealed that dating a die-hard Cena fan made her go through that crazy phase of her life.

Speaking during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Robbie shared that despite being an on-and-off WWE fan as a child, her romantic relationship with a wrestling fanatic exposed her to the weird lifestyle.

According to Margot, her former boyfriend went as far as dressing as John Cena for his 21st birthday, before deciding to put a cut-out of the legendary wrestler in his bedroom.

“Then, as a late teen, early 20s, I had a boyfriend who was obsessed with John Cena.

So much so, that he dressed as John Cena for his 21st birthday.

And had a cardboard cut-out of John Cena in his bedroom.

So I slept in a room, for two years, with a life-size cardboard cut-out of John Cena in the room.

Sometimes I’d wake up in the middle of the night and then I was like ‘(gasps), Oh, it’s just John Cena. It’s okay,” she said.

She further noted that working with Cena himself on the movie titled “Suicide Squad” brought back hilarious memories of how she used to live.

Robbie concluded by saying that she could not tell the wrestler her story when they met on set because it would’ve been a strange way to kickstart their working relationship.

“I remember thinking, if now that I’m going to work with John Cena, should I tell him this or is that gonna to be weird, and I thought I’m just going to keep that to myself.

I’m not gonna tell him. That’d be a weird way to start our working relationship,” he added.
