Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has asserted that he remains undistracted by the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State.
Wike made this statement on Friday while inspecting key projects in the FCT that are slated for commissioning by President Bola Tinubu, starting from May 27, marking the President’s first year in office.
“If I were distracted, you would not see all these projects in the FCT,” Wike stated, addressing rumors that the political turmoil in Rivers State has hindered his focus on his ministerial duties.

The former Rivers State governor emphasized that several projects are ready for commissioning, dispelling speculations about his distraction. “I am not distracted as FCT Minister,” he reiterated.
President Tinubu will commence a nine-day commissioning of various projects in the FCT, beginning May 27.
