Nigeria’s 2008 long jump silver medalist, Blessing Okagbare has come out to react to the decision of the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) to hand her a 10-year-ban for doping violations. She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to Blessing, her lawyers are currently studying the case and their findings will determine their next line of action.
Her words, “‘My attention has been drawn to the statement issued by the AIU regarding its disciplinary panel decision. My lawyers are currently studying it for our next line of action which we will inform you soon.”
