Popular rapper M.I. Abaga has said that his wife was his first investor. He recently revealed that she is his most honest critic, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking on The Podcast Network’s “Outside The Box,” the lyricist shared that his wife supported his TASCK creative with a huge cheque at the very beginning, long before any external investor did.
The rapper disclosed that Eniola’s role in his career wasn’t just financial, stressing that she regularly films his shows, reviews his designs and even writes long analyses of his music.
He added that his marriage is a major turning point in his life because it rescued him from loneliness.
His words, “The very first cheque that came in was from her. She has been the most supportive person in my life.
She’ll sometimes give me a ten-page exposé before I have even finished processing an idea. Her presence in my life is a gift. She shows up at events, she sits in meetings, she does all this while chasing her career.
Getting married has been a huge shift for me. For the first time, I don’t feel like I’m carrying everything alone.”
