My Players And I Don’t Deserve Trophy Bonus This Season – Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to say that his players and coaches do not deserve any bonus after a nightmare season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, even if the club will receive at least £20 million ($25.9 million) just for taking part in the Club World Cup, and the eventual winners of the tournament will pocket around £97 million ($125.6 million), he and his players do not deserve a dime from that money as bonus.

Pep added that the performance has been so terrible this season that they don’t even deserve a wrist watch.

His words, “We do not deserve a bonus this season. If we win, I don’t know how much. It’s for the club, but the manager, the backroom staff, the players, we do not deserve a bonus. Not even a watch.”
