Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has urged the club to sign Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he absolutely believes Ndidi will be a perfect buy to fill in the defensive midfield role for Erik ten Hag because he has what it takes.
Scholesdded that the fact that the Nigerian also only has 2years remaining on his Leicester contract is another reason why he can be bought.
His words, “Leicester’s Wilfred [Ndidi] still very much fits the bill of what Man United are looking for, and with just two years remaining on his contract at Leicester, it’s likely to cost significantly less than the eye-watering sums associated with him in summer past.”
“And while he missed the last two months of the season with a knee injury, he remains one of the best defensive midfielders in the game when fit, averaging an astounding 6.5 tackles and interceptions each match and ranking in the top seven per cent of midfielders for aerial duels, too.”
