Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has come out to share an update on Ndidi’s recent injury. Rodgers recently revealed that the Nigerian would not be out for long, and he is only tightened up.
According to him, Ndidi had an issue with his hamstring vs Everton, so the club will see how things go with him in the next couple of days.
He added that Wilfred didn’t overstretch or tear anything, but he just couldn’t risk any serious injury in the feisty clash.
His words, “Wilf was tight, it was the back of his hamstring, so we’ll see how that goes in the next couple of days,”
“It’s just tightened up. He doesn’t think he’s overstretched or tore it. We’ll just have to assess that. We couldn’t risk it.”
