Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has hailed Wilfred Ndidi after his swift return from injury against West Ham United on Wednesday evening.
He had been out injured since early January after a knee injury in training ahead of their League Cup semi-final first leg tie against Aston Villa.
The Nigerian was expected to be out till February but he started training again and played for 60 minutes to help the King Power Stadium outfit return to winning ways after back-to-back defeats in his absence.
Reacting, Brendan said Ndidi is just remarkable and was excellent in the game.
His words, “It’s remarkable, really. We were thinking he could only play 25-30 minutes,”
“Obviously he was fine to come on and play a full hour. He is genetically blessed and he recovered very, very well. And he was excellent.”
