Contrary to some people’s expectation, the Trinidadian-born American rapper Nicki Minaj to turn up for the christmas festival called Unitel Boas Festas on Saturday in Luanda, Angola.
The human rights activists had earlier sent a letter to the star not to show up for the event base on the country’s human rights violations history.
Apparently, the rapper didn’t heed to their pleading, Minaj was reportedly paid $2million to performed at the show which was packed yesterday (19 December).
Minaj thrilled the audience with her energetic performance at the event hosted by the Unitel communications firm, which is part-owned by the family of the country’s controversial President Jose Eduardo dos Santos.
