Mr 2kay continued his encouraging run of 2015 as he emerged the biggest winner at the recently concluded Niger Delta Advancement Awards.
The ‘Moniegram’ singer walked away with wins in three categories including the biggest award of the night, Niger Delta Artiste of the year. The other wins were in Best Video and Best Song categories with his popular single ‘Bad girl special’.
The elated singer in his acceptance speech said, ‘First I must thank God for his goodness over my life and my career this year. I can’t even deny that 2015 has been a good year for me. I thank the organisers of NDAA for honouring me and the fans and well-wishers who voted for me; may God bless you all.’
Other winners of the night were Daniel D Humorous (Niger Delta comedian of the year), Harrysong (Niger Delta national artiste of the year) and Erigga for best Hip-hop artiste of the year.
There was also Mkaze, who won the best RnB song of the year, Bukwild the Ikwerrian (Next rated artiste), Fortune (best female artiste), KO Baba (fast rising comedian of the year) and DJ Joenel – Niger Delta DJ of the year.
