Ahead of the Bayelsa governorship primary poll coming up on September 24, Governor Henry Seriake Dickson yesterday participated in the screening exercise at the South-south zonal office of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking after the exercise, Dickson called on other aspirants on the platform of the PDP to abide by the outcome of all the processes and respect the organs and the leadership of the party.
Describing the screening exercise as successful, the governor said that the PDP and its candidates believed in the practice of democratic principles.
He also said that he regarded members of the party who have expressed their intention to contest in the governorship election as brothers, urging them to conduct the activities of the party as a family affair.
