    One Hundred and Forty-Three (143) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

    The new cases reported are as follows:

    Plateau: 35
    Kaduna: 21
    Lagos: 19
    FCT Abuja: 13
    Ebonyi: 9
    Adamawa: 7
    Enugu: 7
    Katsina: 7
    Edo: 6
    Kwara: 5
    Osun: 3
    Anambra: 2
    Kano: 2
    Niger: 2
    Ogun: 2
    Benue: 1
    Borno: 1
    Sokoto: 1

    Currently, there are 54,008 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1013 deaths. However, 41,638 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
