    Nigeria records 239 New COVID-19 Cases, 54,247 Total Cases and 1023 Total Deaths as of 1st September 2020

    Two Hundred and Thirty-Nine (239) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

    The new cases reported are as follows:

    Plateau: 116
    FCT Abuja: 33
    Lagos: 19
    Ekiti: 12
    Kaduna: 11
    Ogun: 11
    Ebonyi: 8
    Benue: 7
    Abia: 5
    Delta: 5
    Ondo: 4
    Edo: 3
    Imo: 2
    Osun: 2
    Bauchi: 1

    Currently, there are 54,247 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1023 deaths. However, 42,010 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
