
The Lagos State Government (LASG) on Monday informed interested indigenes of the State that the online registration for the Nigerian Navy 2017 recruitment exercise which commenced on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 and would end on Monday 31st, July 2017.
A statement issued by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tunji Bello, advised all interested indigenes to visit www.joinnigeriannavy.com to apply, stressing that the application is free of charge while multiple applications would attract disqualification.
According to the statement, “Applicants must possess the following requirements: minimum of five credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings in WASCE/ SSCE/ GCE/ NECO /NABTEB, must be single, be of Nigerian origin by birth, must be 1.7m tall for male and 1.67m for female, must be between the ages of 18years and 22years, while 24 to 26years are the acceptable age limits for those with ND, NCE, Nurses and Motor Transport Department (MTD) respectively”.
It added that candidates with higher qualifications other than those specified should not apply while all applicants are advised to check www.navy.mil.ng for detailed instructions.
The statement also noted that applicants are required to print out the completed online application form and submit along with the following: applicant’s declaration and certification by parents, Local Government Area Certification form, Police form and Guarantor’s form.
It emphasized that the recruitment exercise will commence with an aptitude test and screening of candidates certificates at designated centres across the State from 7th of October 2017.
It, therefore, informed eligible candidates to come along with the online completed forms to the designated examination and recruitment centres, adding that applicants should read instructions on the website or call 08159999011 from 9am to 4pm on weekdays for more details.
