In a strategic move, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has called upon his loyalists to stay vigilant in anticipation of the Supreme Court’s judgment on December 15 regarding his incarceration.
During a recent meeting with his legal team at the Department of State Services (DSS) facility in Abuja, Kanu conveyed a message through his Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor.
The leader urged his followers to remain watchful against any potential actions by what he referred to as ‘fifth columnists’ aimed at destabilizing the situation before the crucial judgment.

Kanu’s legal journey has been marked by significant developments, including his rearrest in Kenya in June 2021 and subsequent arraignment by the Federal Government on charges related to terrorism and membership in a proscribed organization.
Despite facing legal proceedings and being discharged and acquitted, the Nigerian Government has yet to release Kanu.
In a social media update on Tuesday, Ejimakor emphasized Kanu’s directive, stating, “He directed that, as we count down to Dec 15, the loyal & faithful should be vigilant to any plot by the Fifth Columnists to ‘rock the boat’ & pin the blame on our people.”
As the December 15 judgment approaches, tension rises, and Kanu’s supporters remain on alert for potential external influences on the legal proceedings.
