The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has announced that Mr. Olaposi Sunday Oginni, the previous chairman of the party in Ogun State, is no longer authorised to speak on the party’s behalf.
This statement was made by the party on Friday.
As reported by Infostride News, the former party chairman was expelled at an earlier time.

The party stated that it had expelled Oginni for reasons including anti-party activity.
It is sad that the former chairman still parades himself as the Ogun State chairman and chairman of the state chairmen of the party, the party said in a statement warning the public to be wary of the former chairman’s activities.
In a statement released to the press, Omokehinde Olowu, the public relations officer for the Ogun NNPP, reiterated that the ex-chairman was still not welcome back in the party.
He went on to say that the national leadership of the party had removed the former chairman and given the necessary public notice to the event.
Olowu added, “He was unhappy with his expulsion, so he challenged the party’s decision in court and lost disastrously. Oginni Olaposi Sunday is no longer a member of NNPP or the Ogun State Chapter, as we wish to stress once again.
It’s been made clear that he has no authority to represent the party in Ogun State in his former role as Chairman of the state. The public and government security services should take this seriously.
“On behalf of the NNPP, which is a fantastic party, we ask that the public refrain from doing business with him. Anyone doing business with him does so at their own risk. The NNPP’s national office says it won’t be responsible for any financial dealings involving its members.
