Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said Marcus Rashford is doing all he can to ensure he is looked at as one of the best strikers in the league.
He said, “You can argue for many strikers but I’m glad he’s in my team,” Solskjaer said. “Harry Kane is injured so maybe that gives him the best chance to be the best one at the moment.
“No one beats him on work-rate, no one beats him on attitude and he’s very confident in front of goal at the moment, he finishes, tries to shoot, he doesn’t think twice about it.
“I think he’s playing the best football in his career.”
His latest victory took Solskjaer’s winning run to seven ahead of a trip to Arsenal in the FA Cup on Friday night.
