Popular female stars in Nollywood Yoruba genre yesterday gathered together under the umbrella of G10 to match against domestic abuse and jungle justice in Nigeria.

Big names like Fathia Balogun, Foluke Daramola, Bisi Ibidapo Obe, Ronke Oshodi Oke Ojo, Moji Olaiya and Ayo Adesanya were joined with veteran actor Dele Odule, Yomi Fash Lanso and other big names in the Yoruba movie industry on Thursday to walk for justice.

The movie stars took secondary school students along with them to demonstrate against jungle justice. They cited the torture of 3 women at the popular Ejigbo market where one victim has passed on.

The protesters also condemned jungle justice and admonished parents and guardians to desist from abusing their children/wards while calling on the Federal Government to be more pro-active on policy initiation and implementation to protect women and children.
