Kenneth Okonkwo, a spokesperson for the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council, has criticized the current level of hardship in Nigeria, attributing it to a “technical glitch” orchestrated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Okonkwo expressed his dismay, stating that Nigerians did not vote for the extent of hardship they are currently experiencing.
The term “technical glitch” was previously used by INEC to explain its failure to transmit results of the last presidential election to its result viewing portal.

Despite prior assurances to transmit election results online in real-time, INEC’s inability to fulfill this promise led to widespread controversies, casting doubts on the credibility of the final election results.
However, the Supreme Court has affirmed INEC’s authority to determine how it transmits election results.
Despite this ruling, Okonkwo condemned corrupt INEC officials, accusing them of rigging elections and installing fellow corrupt individuals in power, thereby inflicting pain and suffering on Nigerians.
In a post on his social media handle, Okonkwo invoked a curse on corrupt INEC officials, praying for multiplied hardship and suffering upon them for their role in rigging elections and causing distress to the Nigerian populace.
