    Odion Ighalo Sign New Five-Year Deal With Watford

    Odion Jude IghaloAmidst several exit rumours, Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has signed a new contract at Premier League side, Watford.

    Ighalo has been rumoured to be on his way from the club with some Chinese clubs interested in signing him.

    The striker has however signed a new five-year deal with the side ahead of the 2016/2017 Premier League season.

    Watford took to Twitter to announce that their highest scoring player of last season will be with them until 2021.

    The 27-year-old, joined Watford in 2014 from Serie A side, Udinese and scored 17 goals last season.

    Watford just released their squad number ahead of forthcoming season and Ighalo retains his No. 24 jersey.

    His compatriot, Isaac Success who just joined in from Granada got the No. 10 jersey.

    Walter Mazzarri’s men start the new league campaign with a trip to Southampton on Saturday, August 13.
