The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State has raised concerns over alleged irregularities in the ongoing local government elections, claiming that two result sheets were distributed to polling units instead of the standard single sheet.
The party also questioned the credibility of the election due to delays in the distribution of materials.
As of 7:32 am, election officials were reportedly still collecting materials from the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) office in Abeokuta, despite the scheduled start time of 8:00 am.

Speaking with newsmen, the PDP state agent, Waliu Oladipupo, expressed worries about the situation, stating that the alleged irregularities could compromise the integrity of the electoral process.
Oladipupo further warned that the delays and distribution issues might lead to the disenfranchisement of many voters.
The PDP called on relevant authorities to address the concerns to ensure a free, fair, and credible election.
