Over the past few days, there has been reports of Lil Kesh’s departure from the Olamide-led YBNL record label.
Our efforts to reach the YBNL camp for explanations proved abortive until a few moments ago when Lil Kesh took to Instagram to explain the situation of things, confirming that indeed his contract with YBNL expired 2 weeks ago and he’s floated his own label YAGI record but he still retains YBNL as his management company.
“If Baddo did not believe in me my talent will still be wasting in the streets,it’s only proper that i start believin.”
Not long after, Olamide also addressed the issue with an Instagram post of his own, stating that YBNL remains the management company of Lil Kesh and Viktor, whose contract with the label also ended weeks ago.
“Let My niggas be Great @lilkeshofficial @viktoh_ybnl #YBNL we don’t raise no fool .. No toy soldiers around me independent niggas only that can get shit popping with or without me .. Ppl that can handle their own business .. Build ur ppl up. ”
