Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole has condemned in totality the massacre that took place at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-Luwa, Owo, Ondo State, on Sunday, June 5, 2022 where scores of people mostly women and children were murdered by Fulani killer herdsmen.
This act, according to Oluwole is not only cowardly but becoming one too many. He wondered why some human elements would derive pleasure in killing innocent people for no reason.
Oluwole condoles with the families of the victims, the Christian Community, Owo community and Ondo. State for the unfortunate incidence.
He called on the the security agencies to live up to the expectations of their professional callings and act like one. He added that the bloodshed in the country carried out by undesirable elements without check makes the security outfits unreliable .
The Asiwaju Odo Makun Kingdom also charged the Federal and State Governments to fulfill their constitutional provisions of providing adequate security for the state and country. Failure to do the needful and arrest the situation, according to Oluwole, would make Nigeria a failed state.
