Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to back Rodri after he suggested that the club’s stars would consider a strike due to an increasingly intense schedule. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, if something is going to change about the hectic fixture schedule, it would have to come from the players themselves, so he understands Rodri’s statement.

Pep added that football can go on without managers, sporting directors, media and owners, but not without footballers.
His words, “I agree that many voices are talking about the players. If something is going to change, it must come from the players. They are the only ones who can change something.
The business can be without managers, sporting directors, media and owners – but without players you cannot play. They alone have the power to do it.”
