The new flagship series is set to launch later this week. Already, a bunch of details of the new handsets have leaked online.
The latest revelation gives information about the processor type and other key specs of a 4G version of Reno 5; which will be available in global markets.
According to reports, Oppo Reno 5 4G will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor.
It is the same chipset that powers Reno 4, which had launched in July this year.
The phone is rumoured to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage.
It is said to come with a 4,310mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.
The latest leak says the handset has a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate.
It would sport a glass front-plastic frame-plastic back design.
The new leak also reveals the camera configuration on the smartphone – 64-megapixel primary sensor coupled with 8-megapixel; 2-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it is said to come with a 44-megapixel sensor.
Another leakster, Chun, pointed out that Oppo Reno 5 4G appears to be a rebranded version of Realme 7 Pro; which too had a similar set of specifications.
That said, Oppo’s new series will reportedly feature Reno 5 5G, Reno Pro 5G, and Reno 5 Pro+ 5G.
The top-end model is said to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor.
Rumours suggest the camera setup will feature a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom; and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX7xx series primary sensor, GSMArena reports.
The third sensor will be a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit. Details about the fourth sensor are not known as yet.
