The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said it is studying the results of the Osun State governorship election and considering legal action over the outcome of the poll.
The party said it was reviewing the results and other developments surrounding the election before deciding on the next steps.

APC expressed concerns over aspects of the electoral process, suggesting that some issues may require further examination before the party accepts the outcome.
The party said its legal and technical teams were analysing available election materials, including results from polling units and the collation process.
According to the APC, any decision to challenge the election would be based on the findings of the ongoing review.
The party urged its members and supporters to remain calm and avoid actions capable of disrupting peace in the state.
It also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other relevant authorities to preserve all election materials and ensure that complaints are addressed through lawful channels.
The APC maintained that it would use all available legal avenues to protect the interests of its candidates and supporters if its review establishes grounds for a challenge.
The party’s position comes after the declaration of the governorship election results, with political stakeholders closely monitoring developments surrounding the outcome.
