Ademola Adeleke, governor of Osun State, has urged his constituents to take safety seriously.
This is because, he said, his government has taken safety measures to protect the state.
On Sunday, in a message to the people of the state signed by his Spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke said he had ordered the heads of the state’s security agencies to implement preventative measures against crime and terrorism in light of recent intelligence community warnings.

According to him, the safety of everyone in Osun State has been restored after the service chiefs took decisive action. There is no need for alarm among our people; all necessary formal and informal apparatuses have been engaged.
Adeleke encouraged the populace to go about their daily lives unafraid.
The governor asked citizens to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity to security personnel.
