Manchester United fans were left begging for the return of Paul Pogba after Jose Mourinho’s team lost their first Premier League game of the season at the weekend – and now the midfielder has taken to Instagram to tell them ‘see you soon’.
The 24-year-old posted a video launching his new PP collection for Adidas – but his caption fuelled hopes he could be back on the pitch in the near future.
Pogba , who has been out for the last 35 days with a hamstring injury, is currently training in Miami, Florida, as he steps up his rehabilitation and his manager told reporters on Friday he does not know when the Frenchman will be available again.
Mourinho has not given a timescale on Pogba’s return but since his injury United have lacked creativity and fans are desperate for him to make his comeback.
“Paul is not here,” Mourinho stressed before the Hudderfield defeat on Saturday.
“I don’t know when he comes back, when he’s available, I’ve no idea. Zlatan is here, he’s working here, under our control, he’s working so, so, so, so hard but he’s not to be back in the next week or couple of weeks.
“Let him take his time and be back when everyone feels is the right moment. Do I think he will be back in 2017? Yes I do. But is just a feeling.”
