Danjuma Bello Sarki, a former Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and candidate for the State Party’s Chairmanship Seat, has vowed to lead the party to victory in the 2027 elections if elected.
Sarki made this pledge during his campaign flag-off at the party’s offices in Zonkwa, the headquarters of Zangon Kataf Local Government, and in Kafanchan, the headquarters of Jema’a Local Government Areas.
He expressed confidence in his aspiration, emphasizing that it was backed by the people and party members.

“I have heeded your call because you believe in my capability, vibrancy, connections, and wisdom to revamp the Party,” he said.
“If I emerge as the State Party Chairman, I have a new vision to unite the party and make it formidable ahead of any general elections in the State,” he added.
Sarki highlighted his commitment to the party, noting his involvement in PDP campaigns since 2015.
He assured supporters that he would address existing gaps and prevent electoral malpractice, stating, “I am beating my chest today, I will lead you to victory come 2027.”
Criticizing the current APC administration, Sarki said the government has led the people into poverty since 2015.
He referenced a Kaduna State House of Assembly report that exposed significant financial misappropriations. “When I look at the report of the State House of Assembly, I feel like crying,” he remarked.
He drew parallels between the administrations of Governor Uba Sani and Nasir El-Rufai, claiming they operate similarly but with different methods.
“If you look at Kaduna State you’ll think there’s no Governor, there is no sense of any governance,” he lamented.
Sarki promised to lead a credible opposition, highlighting the PDP’s readiness to expose government failures and provide a viable alternative.
“We’ll provide an alternative opportunity for people to see that the PDP remains the best party that has the mind of the people of Kaduna State and Nigeria,” he vowed.
He concluded by praising the PDP for its stock of credible leaders, emphasizing their demonstrated human empathy and leadership training.
