The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on Nigerians to resist all anti-people tendencies that compromise and undermine democratic tenets such as freedom, rule of law, accountability, and probity in the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, the PDP congratulated Nigerian workers on International Workers’ Day, urging them to use their resilient spirit to resist challenges posed by ill-implemented economic and fiscal policies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
The PDP expressed concern over the economic hardship and insecurity experienced by Nigerians over the past nine years under the APC-led administration.

The party condemned the continuing increase in electricity tariffs and the price of petroleum products, calling on the government to review its policies to address issues affecting citizens’ welfare.
The statement emphasized the need for the APC-led government to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians and take urgent action to address pressing issues affecting citizens.
Despite the challenging times, the PDP urged Nigerian workers and citizens to remain hopeful and committed to building a stable, united, and prosperous nation.
