The Super Eagles is set to hold their first training session in Ikot Ikpene, Akwa Ibom, today ahead of Friday’s matchday 1, 2027 AFCON qualifier against Madagascar in Uyo. Super Eagles’ media officer, Promise Efoghe, recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Announcing that the first 15 minutes of the training session will be available for media coverage, Efogbe noted that all the players will meet with the press for exclusive interviews on Wednesday at the team’s base in Ikot Ikpene.
The Super Eagles will open their qualifying campaign against Madagascar on Friday, September 25 and will be guests to Guinea-Bissau on matchday 2 on Tuesday, September 29.
The Barea of Madagascar have arrived in Uyo ahead of the encounter with the Super Eagles.
