Daniel Bwala, a prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has suggested that President Bola Tinubu’s current administration could follow a trajectory similar to his predecessor’s.
Bwala drew parallels to the narrative of patience during President Buhari’s tenure, where little progress was perceived.
Speaking on Channels TV, Bwala, who previously served as the spokesperson of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 elections, expressed concerns about the impact of Tinubu’s first term.

He highlighted that Tinubu has utilized 31.8 percent of his first term but has not significantly alleviated the hardships faced by Nigerians.
“When people talk about being patient and waiting, you have to look at the time frame the public officer is expected to execute the work,” Bwala emphasized.
“The President has just been voted into a term of four years.
He is eight months into the term which constitutes 31.8 percent of the total time that he has.”
Bwala underscored the need for tangible results, stating, “We want to see deliverables. Nigerians are tired of English, Mathematics, Economics, Science, and Technology. We want to see practical things.”
He also criticized the President’s budget and its ability to effectively drive the administration’s agenda, echoing the sentiments of economists who have scrutinized its efficacy.
Bwala’s remarks reflect growing scrutiny and expectations regarding the tangible impacts of the current administration’s policies and programs.
