The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a failed government, contrasting the performance of APC governments at all levels with the achievements of PDP governors.
In a statement posted on its official handle on Friday, the PDP claimed that the APC governments have failed to deliver on their promises.
However, the party asserted that PDP governors have been performing and fulfilling their commitments to the people.

The statement from the PDP came in response to a report that operators of the Oza oil field, Decklar Resources Inc., and its co-venturer, Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited, had successfully delivered a total of 75,500 barrels of crude oil to two modular refineries in Edo State.
The PDP commended the commencement of oil production in Edo State, emphasizing that the delivery of crude from the Oza oil field to the state’s refineries is a significant achievement.
The party praised the investment opportunities created by the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, both for local and international companies.
“The story coming from Edo State on the commencement of oil production with the delivery of 75,500 barrels of crude from Oza oil field to two refineries in the state is highly commendable.
This is a great leap and a testament to the wonderful investment opportunity the @GovernorObaseki administration has created for both local and international companies,” the PDP stated.
The party contrasted the performance of PDP governors with what it described as the failures of the APC, asserting that unlike the APC governments at all levels, PDP governors have been delivering on their promises and the party’s manifesto.
