The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerged victorious in all four state constituency rerun elections held in Bauchi State on Saturday, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officers for the election on Sunday.
In Madara Chinade Constituency, Prof. Ahmed Abdulkadir, the Returning Officer, declared Dr. Ala Ahmed of the PDP as the winner with 13,920 votes, defeating Mr. Dantali Ali of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 9,710 votes.
For Bauchi Central, Prof. Ismail Shehu, the Returning Officer, declared Jamilu Dahiru of the PDP as the winner with 1,857 votes, while Aliyu Abdullahi of the APC came second with 858 votes.

In Ningi constituency, Prof. Ahmed Abdulhamid, the Returning Officer, announced that Abubakar Suleiman of the PDP secured 11,785 votes, defeating Khalid Ningi of the APC, who polled 339 votes.
In Zungur Galambi State Constituency, Prof. Adamu Samaila, the Returning Officer, declared Yusuf Ahmed of the PDP as the winner with 2,233 votes, while Ibrahim Yuguda of the APC came second with 1,928 votes.
The PDP’s clean sweep in these rerun elections highlights the party’s strong performance in Bauchi State and underscores its position as a dominant political force in the region.
