The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that it will hold its 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026.
The party disclosed this in a notice posted on its official X handle on Saturday, stating that the meeting follows a resolution endorsed by two-thirds of NEC members in line with Section 31 of the party’s constitution.
According to the notice, the meeting is scheduled to commence at 2:00 pm.

It added that attendance would be strictly limited to statutory members of the NEC, in accordance with the provisions of the PDP Constitution.
Those expected to attend include PDP governors, members of the National Assembly under the party’s platform, members of the Board of Trustees (BoT), state chairmen, national ex-officio members, former members of the National Working Committee (NWC), former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other designated stakeholders.
The party emphasised that the NEC remains committed to ensuring stability, unity, and success within its ranks, guided by principles of internal democracy, discipline, inclusivity, and the pursuit of the welfare of Nigerians.
The statement added that the meeting forms part of the party’s preparations as it positions itself for the 2027 general elections.
