Inter Milan CEO, Beppe Marotta has come out to react to club forward, Ivan Perisic leaving the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he simply had to understand the choice of the player to play in the EPL, and the offer was definitely right for all parties.
Beppe added that Perisic won’t be forgotten for his service to the club, but a substitute is all he is focused on now.
His words, “I’m sorry, but we also understand the choice of the player who played in Italy and Germany.”
“He wanted to play in the Premier League: we could not make any better offers than the one we made.”
“Maximum respect for the athlete, big thanks, but we will find a substitute having someone like [Robin] Gosens already at home who will not make those who go away regret.”
