Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has declared that he and his supporters will no longer allow themselves to be intimidated ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Obi made the declaration while speaking on the political developments ahead of the election, stressing that Nigerians must be free to participate in the electoral process without fear or intimidation.
The former Anambra State governor said his supporters had remained committed to the struggle for a better Nigeria despite the challenges confronting the country’s political system.
He urged them to remain courageous and resolute, insisting that intimidation would no longer prevent them from expressing their political choices.
Obi also called on Nigerians to participate actively in the 2027 electoral process and defend their right to vote for candidates of their choice.
He maintained that the country needed a political system where citizens could freely make decisions about their leadership without coercion.
The NDC candidate further urged his supporters to remain peaceful while standing firmly against any attempt to undermine their political rights.
He expressed confidence that Nigerians would make informed choices in the 2027 elections based on the performance and credibility of political leaders.
